Can i save my cat , he has kidney problems? & How long will he live by giving him Azodyl & Epatkin? - kidney problems more condition_symptoms

My cat was diagnosed with kidney failure. He is a veteran of 14 years old.The has asked me to think about weaning. I refused, and instead of the vet told me it must be administered by intravenous cannula have added 2 x per day for the rest of his LIFE.IT Azodyl & Epatkin drugs and change his diet food healthy. How long can I expect to live, before other problems (and yes, what problems arise, expected)

  1. Chronic renal failure is very difficult in the cat and owner. Is an expensive uphill battle, but if you are willing to do very well. The treatment of your cat is mainly due to the reduction of waste that the kidneys are filtering to the load. The animals show no signs of kidney failure, damage to the kidneys and 75%, so we think for now it was far enough. Unfortunately, this is irreversible in the case of chronic. Be properly maintained, a cat can live for months or years before kidney failure, finally gets the best of them. The key is to ensure that their drugs regularly and keep to dry out. He is every time you urinate lose fluid, the fluid under the skin, a key role. Finally, thin, and have difficulty doing things that love you. Once you begin to see that, you need to consider euthanasia. As a veterinary student to do, I do not see euthanasia as one of the kindest things we do for some of our patients. You need to maintain
